The alignment test is something of a rarity online. It's based on the character morality chart use in Dungeons & Dragons. It offers a simple distinction of thee * three morality types based on how a person perceives society rules inner morals. The nine main types go as following:

  • Lawful Good
  • Neutral Good
  • Chaotic Good
  • Lawful Neutral
  • True Neutral
  • Chaotic Neutral
  • Lawful Evil
  • Neutral Evil
  • Chaotic Evil
As you see, there are three criteria in each axis. Together, they create nine combinations that allow creating interesting in-game characters and stick to their behavior line. As we see, the law here opposes chaos and good vs. evil. In the middle, we have a neutral for both axes. When the two meet, we get a true neutral person.

And though this is a game chart, it can be implemented to evaluate real human characters. And I bet you are already interested in what results you'll get. I was also interested in the many charts putting certain characters, brands, and historical figures into these charts. It turns out any group you choose (that has at least nine positions) can fill in this chart easily!

Thus, I'd like to offer you a chance to take an Alignment chart test yourself and determine which role you play in the game called Life.

Lawful Good

This is your typical goody two shoes. Or a Superman. You rush to help anyone in trouble, follow the rules, and are generally a kind person! You may be critical of others but are still nice to them.

Neutral Good

You are not as still with the rules as the Lawful Good but still would like to stay n the right side of the law. However, you understand that, in a dire situation, rues have to be bent for the greater good!

Chaotic Good

You bear good intentions but think that any methods are good if you have an honorable purpose in mind. You may be chaotic about your actions, as mentioned in the name, but your ultimate goal is to help, despite what it may look like.

Lawful Neutral

You are not a selfless person, and you admit it. You are not evil, but you keep to the lawful side of the chart to keep your own code clean for your own peace of mind. You will help if asked, but only if it bears no potential harm to you.

True Neutral

This is a tricky category. You may think that the True Neutral is a bit boring considering its Switzerland status, but it's not. It's a complicated character, and you know the pain of assessing everything and balancing it out if you are in this alignment.

Chaotic Neutral

You do what you want as long as it doesn't hurt people. Laws are too absurd for you and restricting. Though, you understand clearly when something can harm others.

Lawful Evil

You are selfish when it comes to your desires but not willing to risk everything to gain them. Your role is the puppeteer, an eminence grise. You know how to find loopholes and still adhere to all laws.

Neutral Evil

You know that rules have to be neglected once in a while if you really want something. ANd you want something selfish all the time! You'd rather set up your own rules or abandon them altogether.

Chaotic Evil

You follow no rules; no take what you want, you have little consideration for other people. You have your freedom; rules be damned. You are prepared to live this life to the fullest!
